Our Therapeutic Rice Sacks can be heated or chilled and are specially designed to give you the most comfort possible.  The special channeled construction of the inner, muslin rice sack ensures that the rice will stay evenly distributed throughout the sack which in turn maximizes heat/cold penetration to sore muscles.  These channels are uniquely designed to best suit each rice sack in order to provide the most therapeutic effects for your body.

Therapeutic Neck and Shoulder Rice Sack 

The Therapeutic Neck and Shoulder Sack wraps securely around the neck and shoulders.  Specially sewn channels help hold it in place while at the same time keep the rice evenly distributed throughout the sack to ensure effective heat penetration to sore muscles.  The Neck and Shoulder Sack is 24 inches long, 4 inches wide, and is specially contoured to wrap comfortably around you neck and shoulders.  Use it at home - take it to work.  It's great anytime!

Therapeutic Body Sack

The Therapeutic Body Sack is great for any part of your body but particularily effective to use in the lower, lumbar region of the back.  It is 13 inches long and 10 inches wide.  It has 5 rice-filled channels that run lengthwise making it the perfect fit for the lower back.  Great for the office, long car rides or just relaxing at home.

Therapeutic Eye Sack

The inner muslin sack for the eyes is specially contoured to fit comfortably over the eyes.  It is divided into two compartments containing rice and just the right amount of lavendar for added aroma therapy.  The eye sack is constructed a little differently in that the inner muslin sack is not removable.  Instead, it is enclosed in a fabric cover and has a matching face (as shown on right) that is attached with velcro and can be removed for washing when needed.

Therapeutic Heart Sack

The Heart Sack is sewn to create 4 channels for rice.  The channels are designed to maintain even distribution of rice throughout the sack.  Each channel is filled with rice mixed with just the right amount of lavendar to create a gentle, soothing aroma each time the heart is heated for use.

Removable Covers and Fabric Selection

The outer covers for our rice sacks are hand-sewn with cotton, flannel or fleece - your choice.  Each cover can be removed for washing when needed except for the eye sack which has a removable face that can be washed when needed as well.  Each cover has a hidden velcro closure so that it will not come in contact with your skin and cause irritation.  The inner muslin rice sack should never be washed.  It is important that this remain moisture-free.

When selecting rice sacks, you have several options in order to help us choose a fabric to best suit your style.  Masculine fabrics would include cool plaids, outdoor prints, and darker solid colors.  Feminine selections would include small floral prints, pastel plaids, and lighter solids.  Youth fabrics would include bolder and brighter designs.  Keep in mind that we are very selective in choosing our fabrics.  If you have something special in mind, you are welcome to make a special request when placing your order.  When making special requests, we would ask that you give us 2 or 3 options to better ensure that we can fulfill your request.
